Cary, NC — Three North Carolina students — all of whom are from Cary — are soaring after their artwork earned them top honors in the 2021 International Aviation Art Contest, held in Switzerland.
It was announced in April that, at the national level, 3 of 9 winners across the nation were from Cary. Now, all three of those Cary students have gone on to place in the international competition, including one overall winner.
Cary, NC – The Friends of the Page-Walker Hotel is pleased to announce that Anthony Tutwiler, a high school senior from Green Hope High School, is the recipient of its 2021 $1,000 Friends of the Page-Walker Scholarship. Anthony lives in Cary and is the son of Suzanne and Anthony Tutwiler.
Cary, NC — In a nationwide cybersecurity competition, 18 out of 1,165 North Carolina students were named winners, each receiving a $2,500 college scholarship. Of those 18 winners, 7 of them are from Cary with an additional 5 representing Durham or Raleigh.
The Cary winners included students of Cary High School, Green Hope High School and Panther Creek High School.
Cary, NC — The Children’s Lighthouse daycares of West Cary and Raleigh recently hosted Trike-A-Thons which led to a donation of $5,350 donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
