Cary, NC – In response to falling rates of COVID-19 infection in Cary and the larger region, Mayor Harold Weinbrecht on Thursday announced he would rescind the Town’s requirement for masks in all indoor spaces, which has been in effect since August 18, 2021. Cary, NC — The Cary Town Council got together last Thursday to hold 5 public hearings and vote on 6 consent agenda items. Discussions of rezoning proposals and Public Speaks Out comments took up much of the 2 1/2 hour meeting. These are the highlights.
