Cary, NC — This column honors the life and work of Austin Rich Jr. (February 21, 1930 – August 15, 2011). He served Cary as a barber for 56 years and was the owner of Rich’s Roffler Style Shop. He founded the American Legion Baseball Program in Cary and served as the Athletic Director for 25 years.

Cary, NC — This morning, renowned economist and Reynolds Distinguished Professor, Dr. Michael Walden presented his economic forecast for 2021 to hundreds of Cary Chamber members virtually.
Cary, NC — Karen Carter, the District 9 representative on the Wake County Board of Education, was sworn into her new role alongside the other 8 board members on December 1, 2020.
